Hi, I’m Barb Lundy. I’ve supported people in crisis throughout my career, working with battered women, teaching writing to college students with learning disabilities and working with people with developmental disabilities. I am also a poet and I’ve enjoyed getting published in literary journals. I started using hypnosis to control a chronic pain and it worked so well I decided to become a hypnotherapist. Hypnosis provides me with another avenue to support people who are at a turning point in their lives. I am reminded each day that when we change our minds, we can change our lives.
Hypnosis focuses on the positive, helping us overcome obstacles and reach goals. I now use hypnosis to help people improve their health by giving up negative habits like smoking. My creativity workshops have helped artists reach new creative heights and many people have increased their self esteem allowing them to pursue long held dreams. In our practice, Arnita and I find that many people can’t pinpoint specific problems, they simply want to feel better and manage day-to-day stresses more effectively. We see the power of hypnosis every day and we know it offers power benefits.
